Our Client is the Owner of beautiful Vineyards and an outstanding Winery located in the South of Brazil. The Winery focuses on production of superior sparkling and red wines all from estate grown grapes processed and bottled on the estate.
On 480+ acres of subtropical paradise, our Client, a dedicated medical professional with an entrepreneurial spirit and a love of wine decided to import and plant the best European and South American wine-grapes. Over 70 acres of professionally planted vineyards are now coming into full maturity and production. A lovely small guest-house / hotel has been built and due to its proximity to the largest city in the region, it became a destination for events, such as weddings, reunions, anniversary parties and other get togethers. Unfortunately our Client, an eminent professional, has found that his hobby has grown beyond his expectations and demands more time he has available to dedicate to it.
The Winery has received several awards and accolades, including a Bronze Medal at the International Wine Challenge for its Carmenere, and its sparkling wines are served by the glass in some of the most prestigious hotels and restaurants (e.g. Copacabana Palace in Rio de Janeiro).
The Owners are interested in attracting a strategic investor capable of managing the execution of the five year business plan as well as in an outright sale. The winery has undergone major development both in the field and in the processing facilities. Installed capacity at the end of 2014 will be about 250,000 bottles per year, enough to realize the goals of the 5 year business plan.
